Friday - December 30th, 2022.
I write this while sitting in my hotel room just outside of Cheltenham. You see, I'm not done yet. Nope. Uh-uh. I've yet to shoot my final wedding of 2022 as it's happening tomorrow night. I bloody love an NYE wedding, I do.
Wedding 40/40 will conclude at the same moment that this year does. Cool, huh? I'm not going to lie, it's been a tough 12 months. I shot more than I have done before. I've also travelled more than I ever have done before too.
I caught a ferry to the Isle of Bute. I was in the Cotswolds quite a bit. I went to Cornwall and back 4 times. I went on a road trip to the Cairngorms. I was in London more than anywhere else (naturally). I worked in West Lothian, Worcestershire, the Wirral and Wiltshire (try saying that out loud). You name it, I've probably been there.
Basically, I got some serious miles under my belt and I'm definitely feeling a bit knackered.
But...
How unbelievably good were the weddings I attended this year?! Yeah. They were fricking incredible. All of 'em. Every single one. Beauties the lot of them.
To all my couples - thank you. It was a genuine honour to photograph your day. Honestly, you guys rule.
Anyway, it's late and I've got a busy day tomorrow.
